Electron microscopy was carried out at the ICTS-CNME of the Complutense University of Madrid UCM by Dr Mariona Cabero. Fluorescence correlation spectroscopy was carried out at the Centre for Cytometry and Fluorescence Microscopy of the Complutense University by Dr Luis Miguel Alonso Colmenar. Singlet oxygen detection measurements were performed at the Instituto Qúımico de Sarriá, (Barcelona) in the research group of Dr. Santi Nonell. Grazing incidence wide angle X-ray scattering (GIWAXS) measurements was performed at the BL-11 NCD-SWEET beamline of the ALBA synchrotron at Barcelona, Spain. Atomic force microscopy (AFM) was performed by Jennifer Sánchez. We wish to thank all persons and centers listed above for their support. R.
