dc.relation.projectIDTEMPEmiliano Martínez-Periñán received his bachelor’s degree and Master degree in chemistry from Universidad de Cádiz. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in 2016. After that, he had been working as a visiting postdoc researcher at Manchester Metropolitan University under the direction of Professor Craig E. Banks. Then, he obtained a Juan de la Cierva-Formación fellowship from the Spanish Ministry of economy and innovation at the Electroanalysis and Electrochemical Biosensors group of Universidad Complutense de Madrid lead by Professor José?Manuel Pingarrón. Nowadays he is working as associated professor in the department of Analytical Chemistry and Instrumental analysis of Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. He is part of the Chemical Sensors and Biosensors group lead by Professor Encarnación Lorenzo. His research interests include electrosynthesis, nanotechnology, the use of different analysis techniques coupled with electrochemistry and electrochemical sensors.
